Transiency

Being disconnected from our communities like a lot of us are, and then having our relationships re-wired with social media interactions, isn't good for us. We need some measure of permanency in our community to try and hang onto our good relationships, and mending bad ones. When I was a kid, I asked my Dad about being a truck driver. He shook his head, and said, "No. They're transient by nature." So I don't believe that about myself, and I think it's done some damage. I don't know what to do with the isolation, or about it, most days, but I haven't had the drive to want to be talking to people for a long time. Odd, but that's what ended up happening anyhow.
