Blood

Blood has the life. Blood is where we have atonement. Atonement is achieved by a thorough examination of ones self. You need an inventory of your stuff, and I think a very thorough 12 step program can help open some things up, and you need reconciliation. Whether the reconciliation needs to take place in the Apostolic Church, I'm not certain. However, out of confession I can tell you after my penance on the way home, I felt like my sense of urgency wasn't near as great. Then you can achieve atonement in your blood by receiving communion, or the Eucharist. Once that happens, it's enlisted. Once you have the Body of Christ in your blood, that's how to keep them out of your body. You are now part of the Body of Jesus. No more attack. Very important step but I will tell you it was very hard for me to get to this point. So I'm passing this on to anyone willing to read because this is huge, I didn't go all that way for nothing.
