Abstraction
This is a very important concept that I can speak volumes about, but the main thing to know when considering any abstraction from what many call "First Logos" is that any abstraction layer is vulnerable.
For example, in computer security, which I frequently reference, there's IIS as an abstraction layer from HTTP.sys. So instead of HTTP.sys holding the bindings of certificates, IIS will instead. IIS has a history of being attacked. It's an abstraction from the kernel-mode driver of HTTP.sys which you interface with using netsh. There's been all kinds of improvements to utilize HTTP.sys instead in different platforms such as ADFS.
What do we have as abstraction from "First Logos"? Words, for one. Just a word is vulnerable and we have to be able to trust its source. We do that by studying the Word Of God and referencing different things to strengthen certain thoughts or any messages you may receive along your path.
James 1:17: "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
We're in a world that is further and further disconnected from creation every day. All these screens and conveniences are weakening us as a species, and we may not be able to handle this at all. I myself am currently disconnected from the production of my own food, for example, and because I'm disconnected from these processes, there's all sorts of ways for whatever to creep in and say, "Well what if to get in the food production business you have to set your business up in such a way that sacrifices the animals either by strangulation or unto false gods or both?" You see how being disconnected from your own sustenance production can give people a whole world of paranoia and trouble?
Lets talk about Simulation Theory. All these modern theories I believe to be born out of being disconnected with creation. When I read certain things that keep changing, it's things that are man-made. So when someone misremembers something or is tripping out that something is now different (like the parcel marker in the road), this is man-made and all the work of man. In times like these we need a source we can trust. We need God. Not shifting shadows.
Further, when I had to stay really close, because I was getting carried away I had to stay on the Bible. I had to get that in my head as much as I could because I needed discernment. Every step you take outside that realm gets further from the truth, or probability to be true anyway. It becomes further and more vulnerable with each dot you decide to connect outside the truth. What you need is God, and you will find Him in your heart. That's where your faith is, your true faith, and that's where He waits for you. That's my experience. It's a truth encounter.
